About Us
It all started with an observation.
We were supporting entrepreneurs.
Young people launching a business with an idea, plenty of ambition, and the drive to make it happen.
Almost every time, the same questions came up. Self-employed or incorporation, which one to choose ? When should I register for GST-QST ? How do I make my first invoice ? Which accounting software should I use ? How do I protect my project ?
We also kept seeing the same roadblocks. Terms no one takes the time to explain. Tasks scattered across ten different people to contact. Weeks of waiting for a simple answer. And far too often, the same outcome. Entrepreneurs burning out in paperwork. Starting without the right foundations. Learning along the way what we could have told them from the start.
We wanted to change that.
We're a group of young professionals, lawyers who are members of the Quebec Bar, accountants and startup experts. Each of us has worked with entrepreneurs, in law firms, in accounting offices, and in SME support organizations.
We've seen up close what works, what slows things down, and what discourages people.
We share the same belief, that starting a business in Quebec should be simple, fast and easy to understand, from start to finish. So we built what we would have wanted to find ourselves, at our own launch.
